Why & When Isolation Transformer should be used with Servo Stabilizer?

Generally, the Received Utility Power is of very Poor Quality. Apart from Black-outs and Brown-outs, Problems of High Voltage Spikes, Surges and Earth Leakages are also present. It is mainly because of Under Rated Transmission System, Improper Maintenance of associated Switch Gears, Loose connections, Sparking and Dry Earthing.

There are certain applications which are termed as "Sensitive", such as CNC Machines, Computer Controlled Printing Machines, Medical Instruments, High Capacity On Line UPS. These sensitive Loads contain Semiconductor Devices such as Thyristors, SCRs, Microprocessors/controllers, DSP, etc., which are highly prone to get damaged due to the presence of aforesaid Problems in the Utility Power.

With the use of Isolation Transformer, apart from providing Isolation, all the aforesaid problems, riding over Utility Power are eliminated.

Three phases isolation Transformer with Delta Input and Star Output also provides Artificial Neutral. By connecting Neutral of Star Winding with Perfect created Earth, it provides Perfect Artificial Neutral with Zero Potential, irrespective of Poor Quality of Input Neutral.
